Built for a different problem than regular hosting
Reseller hosting answers a question shared and VPS hosting don't: how do I host several separate clients' websites without giving them all access to one shared account? If you're a freelance designer, a small agency, or anyone managing multiple client sites, reseller hosting gives you one master account with WHM access, under which each client gets their own isolated hosting account — separate cPanel logins, separate resource limits, separate everything, so one client's site can't affect another's.
That isolation is the actual product here. Without it, you'd either need a separate hosting account (and separate bill) per client, or you'd be putting multiple unrelated client sites on one shared account with no real separation between them — a real problem if one site gets compromised or overloaded and takes the others down with it.
How billing and branding actually work
Reseller hosting gives you the infrastructure — it doesn't dictate how you run your business on top of it. You set your own pricing for clients, manage your own client relationships, and we handle the underlying server so you're not also responsible for server-level security and uptime on top of managing your clients.
